SliceFest Back for 5th Year Slicefest

The biggest block party of the year, SLICEFEST, returns on June 11th, 2016, in Lakeview for its fifth annual celebration. SliceFest presented by Birmingham Budweiser and hosted by Slice Pizza & Brewhouse is an all day festival of local and regional music talents, local craft brews and specialty creations from Chef Terrill Brazelton.

The Bajalieh brothers and owners of Slice Pizza & Brewhouse started SliceFest as an annual celebration to thank the Birmingham community for their continued support and to highlight the great talents of their area. Year after year the festival has grown in numbers accommodating sold out crowds in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

“In 2015 we opted to expand the festival onto 29th Street in Lakeview. This enhancement made SliceFest about more than just celebrating our milestone but also supporting our neighboring businesses in Lakeview,” states Jason Bajalieh, Bro-Founder of Slice Pizza & Brewhouse. “We are proud of our community and we look forward to hosting to another sold out crowd this year. Stay tuned for the line up coming in a few weeks!”

Early Bird tickets for SliceFest 2016 are on sale for $25 at SliceFest.com. Children ages 12 and younger receive free admission. Proceeds of ticket sales to benefit The Suki Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping families cope with Rhett Syndrome.
