Apple Cider Cake Recipe

This apple cider cake is simple but stunning. Inside and out, it's juicy and covered in cinnamon sugar and apple cider glaze. I provided gluten- and dairy-free options so everyone may enjoy it!  

Apple Cider Cake – 3 cups (395g) all purpose flour – 3/4 cup (150g) light brown sugar, packed – 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar – 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon – 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg – 1 1/2 tsp baking powder – 1/2 tsp baking soda – 1 tsp salt – 1 cup (240g) apple cider – 1/2 cup (125g) unsweetened applesauce – 1 cup (225g) vegetable oil  – 3 large egg – 2 tsp vanilla extract Coating – 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted – 2 tbsp apple cider – 1/3 cup (70g) granulated sugar – 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon Apple Cider Glaze – 1 cup (100g) powdered sugar – 3–4 tsp apple cider

A 10-cup bundt pan should be sprayed with nonstick spray and lightly floured before baking at 350F.

Sift flour into a large basin and whisk in brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix apple cider, applesauce, oil, eggs, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Gently mix the wet and dry ingredients together.

Put the batter in the bundt pan and bake for 40–45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

After 15 minutes, transfer the cake to a cooling rack. Prepare the coating after 30 minutes of cooling.

Step 5

Stir melted butter and apple cider in a small bowl. Repeat with cinnamon and sugar in another bowl. Apply the butter and apple cider mixture on the cake with a pastry brush, utilizing every drop.

Step 6

Switch to cinnamon sugar and push it into the cake quickly. Apply apple cider glaze before serving.

Mix the two ingredients and add 1 tsp apple cider at a time until the right consistency is reached. Make it pourable but not thin. Enjoy!
