Ingredient

– 1 pound bone-in rib-eye steak – 8 cracks fresh black pepper – 2 teaspoons light brown sugar packed – 1/2 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce – 1 tablespoon unsalted butter – fresh parsley chopped fine for garnish, optional

Introduction

Put the steak on a big plate or a baking sheet. You can add salt, pepper, sugar, Montreal seasoning, and sugar to both sides.

Step 1

It should be spread out evenly when you rub it in with your hands. Put half of the Worcestershire sauce on one side, then flip it over and add the rest of the sauce.

Step 2

Putting it in the fridge for at least three hours or overnight will let the flavors blend. Take it out of the fridge 30 minutes early to let it come to room temperature before you grill it.

Step 3

Get the grill ready, and cook the steak over high heat for five minutes on each side. Make sure the steak has a good char on both sides.

Step 4

Have a water bottle on hand in case your symptoms get worse. The steak may need more or less time to cook, depending on how thick it is.

Step 5

For medium-rare, take the steak off the grill when it reaches 140°F on the inside. Cover the steak with foil and butter.

Step 6

Let it rest for 10 minutes. If you want, you can serve it with parsley on top.

Step 7
