Best Pumpkin Bread with Streusel Topping Recipe

Bread made with pumpkin and topped with streusel  

Ingredient

– 2 large eggs room temp – ¾ cup unsalted butter melted and cooled – ½ cup white sugar – ½ cup brown sugar packed – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 cups + ¼ cup all purpose flour – 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ½ teaspoon baking soda – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 & 1/2 cups pure pumpkin puree strained Streusel Topping – 8 tablespoons Unsalted butter very cold, cut into small cube – ½ cup + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour – ⅓ cup light brown sugar packed – 1 & 1/2 teaspoons 

Introduction 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Apply baking spray to a loaf pan measuring 9 inches by 5 inches, then line it with parchment paper and set it aside.  

Step 1

Add the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to the eggs, and then beat them using a hand mixer that is electric on a moderate speed. Mix one more until everything is included.  

Step 2

The flour, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt should be mixed together in a separate bowl before being added to the wet ingredients and mixed on a low pace. 

Step 3

Incorporate the pumpkin puree that has been filtered, and continue mixing until there are no dry spots left. Butter, flour, brown sugar,

and cinnamon are the ingredients that make up the streusel topping. Combine all of these ingredients in a large bowl until they form crumbs.  

Step 5

Using your hands or a pastry cutter is the most convenient way to accomplish this task. After the pan has been prepped, pour half of the batter into it. After carefully adding another layer of batter,

apply half of the streusel topping to the prepared dish. Top with the streusel that is still left over. Bake for fifty-five minutes to one hour,

A toothpick put into the core of the cake should come out clean; damp crumbs are fine. Cool the bread on a wire rack after 15 minutes in the tin. Hot-cut and serve.
