Best Turkey Chili Recipe

Our Turkey Chili Recipe is rich, savory, and made in one pot with common ingredients. It's ideal for leftover turkey.  

Ingredient

– 2 tablespoons olive oil – 1 medium sweet onion small diced – 1 green bell pepper small diced – 4 cloves garlic minced – 2 – 1.25 ounce packages chili seasoning – 1 tablespoon granulated sugar – 2 teaspoons ground cumin – 2 teaspoons garlic powder – 2 teaspoons onion powder – 1 teaspoon kosher salt – 1 teaspoon black pepper – 1 cup unsalted turkey or chicken stock – 28 ounces crushed tomatoe – 16 ounces dark red kidney beans undrained – 16 ounces pinto beans undrained – 15 ounces tomato sauce – 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chiles undrained – 4 cups shredded leftover turkey – 1 & 1/2 cups frozen corn

Introduction 

Place the olive oil in a big stockpot or Dutch oven and ensure that it is heated over medium heat. When the olive oil is hot, 

Step 1

add the onion and bell pepper, and fry them for approximately 15 minutes, allowing them to sit frequently,   

Step 2

until the onions have a transparent appearance and have a light brown color. Add the garlic and mix it in for thirty seconds, or until it becomes aromatic. 

Step 3

Stir in the chili seasoning, sugar, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and continue to simmer for one minute after adding all of these ingredients.   

Step 4

The stock should be used to deglaze the pan, and any crusty residue should be scraped from the bottom of the pan. toss in the crushed tomatoes, kidney beans,

pinto beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with green chiles, turkey, and corn. After adding all of these ingredients, toss them together. Bring to a boil, then decrease the heat to a simmer, 

Step 6

cover, and continue to cook for one hour. When stirring, make sure that nothing burns on the bottom. You should serve it right away with the toppings of your choice.
