Brown Sugar Shortbread Cookies Recipe

– 1 Cup Salted Butter (1 cup butter = 8 ounces or 240 grams) – 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar – 2.5 Cups All Purpose Flour

Lay parchment paper or silicone mat on a baking tray. Preheat oven to 356 F/180 C.

Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl. Cream butter and sugar with a tabletop or handheld mixer until light and fluffy.

Mix flour with a spatula. Knead the dough gently until it forms a huge lump. Do this in the bowl or on a clean surface.

Place dough discs on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes in preheated oven.
