Butterscotch Cookies (Soft and Chewy Recipe)

These butterscotch cookies are soft, chewy, and delicious! With just a handful of ingredients and 10 minutes of baking, you’ll have the tastiest cookies! 

Ingredients: 1. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 2. 1 cup packed brown sugar 3. 1/2 cup granulated sugar 4. 2 large egg 5. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 6. 3 cups all-purpose flour 7. 1 teaspoon baking soda 8. 1/2 teaspoon salt 9. 1 cup butterscotch chip

DIRECTION

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. 

 In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. 

Fold in butterscotch chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets. 

 Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy your soft and chewy butterscotch cookies!
