Caramel Popcorn (+ Easy Recipe)

Movie night is not as fun without caramel popcorn! But why buy a bag if you can make it at home? It’s sweet, creamy, and seriously addictive. 

Ingredients: – 1/2 cup popcorn kernel – 1/2 cup unsalted butter – 1 cup brown sugar – 1/4 cup corn syrup – 1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTION

Pop the popcorn kernels using your preferred method and set aside in a large bowl. 

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. 

Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, then let it boil for 4-5 minutes without stirring. 

Remove from heat and pour the caramel over the popcorn, stirring to coat evenly. 

Spread the caramel-coated popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool and harden before serving. Enjoy your delicious caramel popcorn!
