This homemade brownie brittle is perfect for chocolate lovers with a crispy brownie foundation and small chocolate chips in every bite!

INGREDIENTS

– 3 ounces (85g) bittersweet chocolate – 6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter – 3/4 cup (90g) all-purpose flour – 1/4 cup (21g) unsweetened cocoa powder – 1/4 teaspoon baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 2 large egg white – 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 to 1/3 cup mini chocolate chip

Warm the oven up to 325°F. Put parchment paper inside a 10" x 15" jelly roll pan and grease the paper a little.

Step 1

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the butter and chocolate in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Stir the butter and chocolate for 30 seconds at half-power until they melt. Once it's smooth, set it aside to cool down a bit.

Step 2

The cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and flour should all be mixed together with a whisk. Put away.

Step 3

In a big bowl, mix the egg whites just until they start to foam. Mix in the vanilla and sugar until everything is well mixed.

Step 4

Add the cooled chocolate mixture next and mix it in. And finally, add the flour blend and stir it in.

Step 5

Spread the cookie batter out evenly in the pan that has been prepared. Add the chocolate chips on top.

Step 6

Put the brownies in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until they are hard. Put a wire rack inside the pan and let it cool down.

Step 7

Next, take the brownies out of the pan and put them on a cutting board. Now you can break them up or cut them into pieces.
