Warm the oven up to 350°F. Put parchment paper on the sheet trays and set them aside. Using an electric hand mixer or the paddle tool on a stand mixer,
Step 1
mix the peanut butter and butter together until the mixture is smooth. Mix the brown sugar and white sugar together after adding them.
Step 2
One egg at a time, making sure each one is fully mixed in before adding the next. Do not beat the vanilla in. The flour and baking soda should be mixed together in a small bowl.
Step 3
Mix it in with the wet stuff. It needs to be mixed in so that there are no dry spots. If you need to, scrape down the sides.
Step 4
Put two tablespoons of dough on each sheet tray, making sure they are three inches apart. Press down on the cookie dough gently as you make a cross-hatch pattern in it with a fork.
Step 5
Position them in the oven and bake them for twelve to thirteen minutes, or until they have become a golden brown color and the exterior no longer appears shiny.
Step 6
After allowing it to cool for five minutes on the sheet tray, transfer it to a wire rack which will allow it to cool completely.
