Delicious Pepperoni Bread Recipe

Pepperoni Bread made with frozen bread dough is simple and enjoyable to make. Make pizza night entertaining by serving it as an appetiser or entree with a big salad.

INGREDIENTS

– 1 1- pound loaf frozen bread dough thawed according to package directions (I used and like Rhodes brand) – 3 ½ tablespoons salted butter melted – 1 ½ teaspoons pizza seasoning – ¼ teaspoon garlic powder – 4 ounces sliced pepperoni – 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese – 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Step 1

Warm the oven up to 375°F. Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet. Put away. Dust your work surface with a little flour, then roll and stretch the thawed dough into a 12x10-inch square. 

Step 2

Not everything has to be exact, so don't worry about the sizes. As long as they're close, you're good to go.

Step 3

Melt the butter and add the garlic powder and pizza spice. Mix the ingredients together until they are well mixed. 

Step 4

Apply half of the melted butter mixture to the rolled dough with a pastry brush. Put pepperoni all over the dough's surface, and then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of that.

Step 5

Roll the dough up like a jelly roll, starting with a long side. Pinch the ends together and put the loaf on the baking sheet seam-side down. Cut three small holes in the top of the loaf with a sharp knife.

Step 6

Cover with the rest of the butter mixture and top with Parmesan cheese.  After the oven is hot, bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Step 7

Cut with a sharp knife after letting it cool for about 10 minutes. You can use pizza sauce or tomato sauce on top.
