Delicious Strawberry Pound Cake Recipe

A delicious dessert doesn't always require a difficult baking session. This Delicious Strawberry Pound Cake Recipe is one of those delicious sweets that comes together easily.


– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature – 2 cups granulated sugar – 4 large eggs, at room temperature – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 cup sour cream – 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, diced – Powdered sugar for dusting (optional) – Additional strawberries for garnish (optional)

Step 1

Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt or tube. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to beat butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

Step 2

Beat each egg carefully after adding it. Mix in vanilla extract. In a separate basin, mix flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.

Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with sour cream. Start and finish with dry ingredients, mixing just until incorporated. Do not overmix.

Step 4

Use a spatula to evenly spread the diced strawberries into the batter. The batter should be uniformly distributed in the pan.

Step 5

Bake the cake for 50–60 minutes in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool the cake in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Step 6

Powdered sugar can be sprinkled on the cake after cooling. Add more sliced strawberries if desired. Slice, serve, and enjoy the cake!
