Draft Position Not Expected to Impact Bronny James’s Draft Decision, per Report

Rich Paul, CEO of Klutch Sports, told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN on Saturday that the USC freshman guard Bronny James is likely to be picked in the draft based on team interest rather than draft place

aul will be Bronny's agent when he finally chooses to make his professional debut. Paul has been LeBron James' agent for a very long time.

Paul said, "I do not place as much importance on a young player being selected in the lottery as I do on ensuring that he is placed on the appropriate team and in the appropriate developmental environment."

He has played almost 20 minutes per game this season at USC and scored 5.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. James was supposed to play an even bigger part in the rotation at the start of the season.

but he had a heart attack during a workout last summer and couldn't play for almost five months. James finally got back to playing around the middle of December.

Despite the fact that LeBron James has expressed his desire to play alongside Bronny before he retires, Paul stated that he "wants Bronny to be his own man."

If Bronny enters the 2024 NBA draft, he probably won't be a lottery pick, but because of his family history, his progress will be closely watched as he plays hoops.
