Dulce De Leche Cheesecake Brownies Recipe

Fudgy Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Brownies with a dulce de leche cheesecake swirl.


FOR THE BROWNIES: – 12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, roughly chopped – 1 cup unsalted butter – 1 cup granulated sugar – 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar – 4 large egg – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon salt FOR THE FILLING: – 8 ounces cream cheese, softened – 1/3 cup dulce de leche – 1 large egg


Step 1

MAKE BROWNIES: Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9"x 13"x 2" baking pan. Put chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. 

Step 2

Heat at half power for 30 seconds until butter and chocolate melt when swirled. Let cool slightly.

Step 3

Mix sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl. Add the cooled chocolate mixture and stir well. 

Step 4

Mix in flour and salt until mixed. Pour half the brownie batter into the pan and spread evenly.

Step 5

MAKE FILLING: Mix the cream cheese, dulce de leche, and egg with a medium-speed electric mixer until smooth. Top brownie batter in pan. Spread evenly, leaving 1/4" border.

Step 6

Drop remaining brownie batter over filling. Stir batter into filling with a thin knife. Or gently sprinkle brownie batter over the filling to cover it.*

Step 7

Bake for 35–40 minutes until a pick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool in pan before cutting into bars.
