Easy Chocolate Chip Muffins Easiest Recipe Ever

My Easy Chocolate Chip Muffins bake flawlessly with a crispy sugar topping and come together quickly. Enjoying your favorite bakery delight at home in 30 minutes? Yes, please!  

Ingredient

– 2 cups all-purpose flour – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt – 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed – 2 large eggs – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 1/2 cup buttermilk – 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips – 1 tablespoon decorator's sugar optional

Introduction 

Warm the oven up to 425°F. Put jumbo liners in 6 parts of a jumbo muffin tin or spray the tin with baking spray. Set the tin aside.  

Step 1

Make a small bowl and mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Set this bowl away. Melt the butter and add the granulated sugar and light brown sugar. 

Step 2

Whisk them together in a big bowl until they are well mixed. It will be smooth after adding the eggs and vanilla extract.  

Step 3

Add half of the flour mix to the bowl and mix it in with a whisk until it's smooth. Mix in half of the buttermilk with a whisk until it's smooth. 

Step 4

Do it again with the rest of the buttermilk and flour mixture until there are no dry spots. Once the muffin tin parts are ready, divide the batter evenly among them. 

Step 5

Fold in chocolate chips. Add more chocolate chips for a great look. Sprinkle some decorative sugar on each muffin. Repeat baking the muffins five times.  

Step 6

Lower the heat to 350°F and bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. The muffins will be golden brown and dome-topped.  

Step 7

Remove them from the pan and place them on a wire rack to finish cooling. Serve hot or room temperature for optimum flavor.
