Ingredient
– 16 ounces cream cheese softened– 1 & 1/4 cup granulated sugar– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract– 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon– 2 8 ounce cans crescent dough sheetFor the topping:– 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened– 1/4 cup granulated sugar– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon– honey for serving optional
Introduction
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking dish measuring 9 inches by 13 inches by spraying it with cooking spray and setting it aside.
Step 1
The packages of cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon should be whipped together in a big bowl using an electric hand mixer until they are completely smooth.
Step 2
Take the mixture and set it aside. One of the crescent roll dough sheets should be unrolled and then pressed onto the bottom of the pan.
Step 3
Spread the cream cheese mixture out equally on top of the dough and then cover it with the dough. The second can of dough should be unrolled and then placed on top of the cream cheese layer.
Step 4
The dough should be gently pressed down. A medium bowl should be used to combine the butter, sugar, and cinnamon in order to make the topping for the cinnamon mixture.
Step 5
Place a dollop of this cinnamon sugar that has been flavored with butter all over the top of the dough and sprinkle it evenly.
Step 6
Bake till frothy and golden brown, 30–35 minutes. A middle wobble is fine. Before serving, cut the bars after 30 minutes of wire rack chilling. Drizzle honey on slices before serving.
