Gluten Free Spiced Peach Crisp Recipe

Warm gingerbread spices make this gluten-free spiced peach crisp the best peach treat of the summer!

– 8 peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced – 2 Tbsp lemon juice, (about 1/2 lemon) – 1 Tbsp cornstarch TOPPING – 1 cup almond meal – 1/4 cup rolled oats, regular or quick cooking is fine – 1/2 cup brown sugar – 1/2 tsp ground ginger – 1/4 tsp cinnamon – 1/4 tsp ground cardamom – 1/4 tsp ground cloves – 1/4 tsp ground allspice – 1/4 tsp freshly ground nutmeg – 6 Tbsp cold unsalted butter, cut in small piece

INGREDIENTS

Warm the oven up to 375F. Put slices of peach in a bowl. Mix the cornstarch and lemon juice together, then set it away.

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the topping ingredients in a bowl with your hands, breaking apart the cold butter with your fingers until it's coarse crumb.

Step 2

Put peaches in the bottom of a 12-inch oval gratin dish. Crumble the topping over them.

Step 3

Bake until bubbly and golden, about 30 minutes. If the topping is browning too much, foil it at the end. Dig in after 15 minutes of cooling.
