Klay Thompson’s Honest Statement on Steph Curry’s Injury

_______________________

In the evening of Thursday, Steph Curry, a key player for the Golden State Warriors, sustained an ankle injury. The team is currently waiting for official word on the injury.

Curry walked back to the locker room after rolling his ankle in the waning minutes of Golden State's game against the Chicago Bulls. He did not return to the game following his injury.

Following the conclusion of the game, Warriors guard Klay Thompson provided the following statement to the media: "I know we're going to miss him if he does have time off."

This is not the first time that we have found ourselves in a situation like this; he does have time off, and all we need to do is work together.

When he does return, whenever that may be, I am confident that he will be prepared to go. In the meanwhile, we would want to wish him a swift recovery and encourage him to take his time.

"Not really, because if he is out, it's unfortunate, but it's part of the length of the season," Thompson stated in response to the question of whether or not he had spoken to Curry.

It is difficult to play every game, especially if you do not expect to sustain any minor ailments. Without him, we will be successful; we can rely on our past experiences and know how to carry out our plans without him.

The Warriors had the worst day possible on Thursday. Not only did they lose to Chicago, but Curry got hurt, and all of the teams behind them in the playoffs won.

Thursday was a setback for Golden State in every possible manner, despite the fact that they had done well to put themselves in a position to advance up the standings with their performance.
