Lemon Garlic Recipe for Crock Pot Chicken Thighs

Let's start with my favorite Crock Pot Chicken Thighs dish. Lemon, garlic, and butter make this weeknight dish stand out.  


– 12 boneless skinless chicken thigh – 1/3 cup chicken broth – Juice of one lemon – Zest of half a lemon – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – 1 teaspoon onion powder – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika – 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flake – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon black pepper – 4 cloves garlic minced – 4 tablespoons salted butter thinly sliced – Fresh parsley and lemon slices for garnish optional


It is recommended that the chicken thighs be placed in the bottom of a slow cooker that has a capacity of eight quarts. The chicken broth, 

Step 1

lemon juice, and lemon zest should be mixed together in a small basin. To ensure that the components are thoroughly combined, stir the mixture. 

Step 2

Make certain that the chicken thighs are completely submerged in the sauce for optimal results. It is recommended that the dry ingredients, which consist of the Italian seasoning,

onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper, be well combined in a separate small dish. The dry ingredients should be mixed together.  

Step 4

Please certain that the chicken thighs are completely covered with this till it is totally covered. 

Step 5

The minced garlic should be sprinkled all over the surface of the dish once the butter slices have been placed in the predetermined positions.  

Step 6

Cover and simmer on low for 6-8 hours or high for 2–3 hours. Replace the cover. After cooking, put chopped parsley on top and add sliced lemons right before serving.
