Nacho Fries Easiest Recipe Ever

This Nacho Fries Recipe is a fantastic imitation, with homemade french fries seasoned and a spicy nacho cheese sauce for dipping.  

Ingredient

– peanut oil for frying – 3 medium russet potatoes peeled and cut into 1/4 inch stick For the sauce – 15 ounces cheez whiz cheese dip – 3 slices American cheese – 1/4 cup pickled jalapeno juice – 2 tablespoons whole milk For the fry seasoning – 1 tablespoon sweet paprika – 1 & 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika – 1 teaspoon chili powder – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon onion powder – 1 teaspoon kosher salt – 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Introduction 

A deep fryer or dutch oven with 4 inches of oil along the side should be preheated to 325°F. While waiting for the oil to heat, put the cut potatoes in cold water. 

Step 1

If the oil is ready, remove the fries a handful at a time and dry them with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel. Fries in oil should be tender and cooked thoroughly after 6-8 minutes.  

Step 2

Mix them every five minutes. The fries will be pale at this point. Place blanched fries on a wire rack over a sheet tray to catch drips. Repeat with remaining fries. 

Step 3

Make cheese sauce while blanching fries. In a medium saucepan, combine cheez whiz, American cheese, jalapeño juice, and milk.  

Step 4

Stir the pan occasionally over medium-low heat to prevent sticking. Cook until smooth and melted, about 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let sit until serving. 

Step 5

Once all fries are blanched and cheese sauce is ready, heat oil to 375°F. Mix sweet, smoked, chili, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and leave aside. Once oil gets hot.  

Step 6

Add handfuls of blanched fries to oil. Cook 30 seconds–1 minute until crispy and golden brown. Again, drain fries on a wire rack over a sheet tray to catch drips.  

Step 7

Repeat with remaining fries. Place them in a big basin after cooking. Toss fries with half the fry seasoning. Taste and season as desired. Put nacho sauce on fries right away.
