Nic Claxton brands every game as a must-win after losing to Detroit

According to Claxton, the Nets are in desperate need of winning more games this season. He has shared his thoughts on the matter.

During the previous week, the Brooklyn Nets were victorious in both of their matches against the tenth-seeded Hawks, which allowed them to gain ground on the Hawks.

Unfortunately, the Nets were defeated by two of the poorest teams in the league, which completely undid all of the hard work they had put in the previous week.

The Nets need to win as many games as possible to stay ahead of the Hawks, who have a 3.5-game lead. Star centre Nic Claxton has changed how he thinks about the rest of the season because of it.

"I feel like we have to win every game if we want to make the playoffs." We need to win because tonight we didn't play very well. That has to be our task, and not just falling behind.

t's always tough to play from behind, and we did that in the last two games. "From now on, every game has to be won," Clax said in his interview after the game.

By a score of 50 to 28, the Detroit Pistons were able to outrebound the Brooklyn Nets. Nic's great effort, in which he grabbed ten rebounds, was not enough to prevent this from happening.

In a perfect example of the Nets' rebounding struggles, not a single player on the Brooklyn roster was able to grab more than four rebounds.

Day’Ron Sharpe missed the Pistons game with a wrist injury. He was a top bench rebounder for the Nets and could have made a difference. Unfortunately, Detroit had 13 offensive rebounds and 23 second-chance points.

Brooklyn's teammates must assist Claxton rebound. Every player must box out to stop opponents' possessions and improve their scoring chances.

The two losses that Brooklyn has suffered to Memphis and Detroit demonstrate that this club must not allow itself to become complacent, despite the fact that it has one of the easiest schedules left in the NBA.

The mentality that every game is a must-win, which Claxton has adopted, is something that the rest of the team ought to emulate.

A must-win mindset is like “hunters” for Coach Kevin Ollie, who likes them. Brooklyn has good potential and only needs to find their groove to make the Play-In Tournament.
