Easy Nutella Banana Bread Recipe

Banana bread made with Nutella is a deliciously moist and chocolatey treat, with ribbons of Nutella that are swirled directly into the batter.

– 1/2 cup vegetable oil – 2 large eggs – 1/4 cup sour cream – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed – 1 1/4 cups well mashed banana, about 3 medium banana – 2 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 tsp cinnamon – 1 tsp baking powder – 1/2 tsp baking soda – 2 cups all purpose flour – 2/3 cup Nutella



Preheat oven to 350F. To make removal easier, grease and line a 9x5 loaf pan with parchment paper'sling'. Whisk oil, eggs, and sour cream until lump-free in a large bowl.

Mix in sugars, mashed banana, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder, and soda. Fold in flour. Microwave Nutella in a small bowl for 20 seconds to loosen.

Step 3

Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Pour half the Nutella on the batter. Stir gently with a knife or chopstick. Put the remaining batter in the pan. 

Step 4

Spread the remaining Nutella on top. Swirl again. Bake the bread for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (moist crumbs are fine). 

Step 5

Note: If your bread browns too rapidly, cover it with loose foil at the end of baking. Cool before slicing.
