Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars Recipe

Black Section Separator

I adore nice cookie bar recipes! My new favorite cookie bar recipe is soft, chewy, and full of chocolate chips.

Ingredient

– 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oat – 1 & 1/4 cup all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1 cup salted butter softened – 1 cup light brown sugar packed – 2 large eggs – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 12 ounces

Introduction

Warm the oven up to 350°F. If you have an 11x7 baking dish, spray it with cooking spray that has flour in it or line it with parchment paper. Then set it away.

Step 1

Mix the old-fashioned oats, flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a large bowl. Set the bowl away.

Step 2

Using an electric hand mixer on medium speed or the paddle tool on a stand mixer, cream the butter and brown sugar in another large bowl for three minutes.

Step 3

Mix in the eggs and vanilla until everything is well mixed. Mix well until there are no dry spots after adding the dry ingredients to the wet ones. If you need to, scrape down the sides.

Step 4

Keep some chocolate chips for yourself to serve on the side. Mix in the rest of the chocolate chips that are left in the bowl.

Step 5

Press the cookie dough into the pan that has been set up. Add the last few extra chocolate chips on top of the bars.

Step 6

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Place on a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into bars.
