OFFICIAL: Hornets Hire Jeff Peterson as Executive VP of Basketball Ops

Jeff Peterson was hired by the Charlotte Hornets to serve as Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, according to an announcement made by the roster on Tuesday morning.

In a press release, Charlotte Hornets owners Rick Schnall and Gabe Plotkin said, "We're excited to have Jeff join the team as the new leader of our basketball operations.

He shares our values, our vision, and our goal of becoming the best team in the NBA." Jeff is becoming more and more popular in our league. He is known for how well he can evaluate players, talk to them, and build relationships.

We will gain a lot from the fact that he has worked for many different companies and general managers. Jeff will be a great addition to our team, and we're excited to work with him. Welcome to Charlotte, Jeff!"

He was most recently the Brooklyn Nets' assistant general manager. In the past few years, he was a big part of the team's choices, such as the ones that helped them get Kevin Durant and James Harden.

He said, "I'm thrilled to be joining the Charlotte Hornets and I can't wait to get started." "I'd like to thank Rick and Gabe for giving me this chance and trusting me with this team."

I agree with their plan to make this the best brand in Charlotte. It will take hard work, creative ideas, and a willingness to work together to create a winning culture.

I'm looking forward to the task. Asheville is basketball country, and Hornets fans are some of the most devoted in the NBA. It makes me excited to be a part of this group and feel that passion.
