Paula Deen Pound Cake

Ingredients: – 1 cup unsalted butter, softened – 3 cups granulated sugar – 6 large egg – 4 cups all-purpose flour – 1 cup whole milk

DIRECTION

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. 

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. 

Gradually add flour to creamed mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth. 

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. 

Cool in pan for 15 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
