Sara Lee Pound Cake

What’s not to love about the classic Sara Lee pound cake? It’s not too sweet, but it’s outrageously buttery. And now, you can make it in your own kitchen! 

Ingredients: 1. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 2. 1½ cups granulated sugar 3. 4 large egg 4. 2 cups all-purpose flour 5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a loaf pan. 

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 

Beat in eggs, one at a time, then mix in vanilla. 

Gradually add flour, mixing until smooth. 

 Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy your Sara Lee pound cake!
