Small Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Black Section Separator

Small Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies are a great way to get cookies from scratch without having to make a lot of them.

– 3/4 cup (90g) all-purpose flour – 1/4 teaspoon baking powder – 1/8 teaspoon baking soda – 1/8 teaspoon salt – 3 tablespoons (42g) unsalted butter, softened – 3 tablespoons (38g) firmly packed light brown sugar – 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar – 1 large egg yolk – 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chip

Warm the oven up to 350°F. Put silicone or parchment paper on the bottom of a small baking sheet. (I use a half-sheet pan.)

Step 1

The flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt should all be mixed together with a whisk. Put away.

Step 2

Beat the butter, brown sugar, and sugar together with an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and egg yolk and mix well.

Step 3

Turn down the mixer's speed. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix just until everything is mixed. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in.

Step 4

Put three-tablespoon amounts of dough on the pan that has been made. Make the tops of each cookie a little flatter.

Step 5

The cookies should be baked for 14 to 16 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. On a wire rack, cool the pan for 5 minutes. Place the cookies on a wire rack to cool fully.
