Soft Ginger Molasses Cookies Recipe

These Soft Ginger Molasses Cookies are incredibly flavorful, chewy and soft cookies that are rich in texture.
INGREDIENTS
– 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
– 1/2 cup (170g) molasse
– 2 & 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 & 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
– 1 teaspoon ground allspice
– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
– 2 large egg
– 3 & 1/2 cups (420g) all-purpose flour
– coarse sugar or granulated sugar, for coating the cookie
Warm the oven up to 350°F. Put parchment paper or plastic liners on baking sheets to line them.

INSTRUCTIONS
Put the electric mixer on medium speed and beat the butter and sugar together until they are fluffy and light.
Step 2
Mix in the salt, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, molasses, and baking soda until everything is well mixed.
Step 3
Mix well after adding the eggs. Turn down the mixer's speed. Slowly add the flour and mix just until everything is mixed.
Step 4
Roll out about a tablespoon of dough at a time and shape it into balls. Then cover each one in rough sugar.
Step 5
When you put the cookies on the ready pans, leave about 2 and a half inches of space between each one.
Step 6
Set the oven to 10 minutes. They should be soft and puffy in the middle, but they will fall as they cool.
Step 7
Ten minutes to cool the cookies on the pan. After that, put them on a wire rack to cool totally.
