Sprinkle Cookies  Recipe

Sprinkle cookies are fun-packed! Who doesn't adore soft, chewy sugar cookies with sprinkles inside and out?  


– 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 egg – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract – 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1 cup rainbow sprinkles divided


Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and placing it in the oven once the temperature reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine the butter and

sugar in a mixing basin of medium size, and then cream the two ingredients together. After adding the egg and vanilla, make sure that all of the ingredients are properly combined.  

Step 2

In order to make the mixture, flour, baking powder, and salt should be combined. Utilize a half cup of rainbow sprinkles and mix them together in a comprehensive manner. 

Step 3

Utilizing a cookie scoop that is two tablespoons in size is the method that may be utilized to create cookie dough balls. 

Step 4

After rolling the cookie dough balls in the remaining rainbow sprinkles, position the cookie dough balls that have been covered in sprinkles on the baking sheet that has been prepared in advance.  

Step 5

The spacing between the cookie dough balls should be roughly two inches. Maintain a temperature of 9 degrees in the oven. Once the cookies have been removed from the oven,

they should be allowed to cool entirely on the baking sheet for a minimum of ten minutes before being transferred to a cooling rack to complete the cooling process.

Should it be necessary, immediately after removing cookies from the oven, use a cookie cutter to mold them into the appropriate form. This should be done as soon as possible.
