The Best Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe

For a simple, tasty breakfast, try The Best Buttermilk Pancakes. Easy, fluffy, and tasty.  


– 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour – 4 teaspoons baking powder – ½ teaspoon salt – 2 tablespoons granulated sugar – 1 ¼ cups buttermilk – 1 egg beaten – 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Put the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a large bowl and mix them together. To blend, whisk the ingredients together. 

Step 1

In a bowl of medium size, combine the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract by whisking them together until they are completely incorporated. 

Step 2

Be sure not to overmix the mixture by adding the wet ingredients to the dry ones and stirring them together until they are completely incorporated.  

Step 3

If you feel that the batter is a little thick, you can add an additional tablespoon of buttermilk to it. After that, you should let the batter rest for five minutes. 

Step 4

Spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray and place it on the stovetop over medium heat. Heat the skillet until it is hot.  

Step 5

A quarter cup of the pancake batter should be scooped out and placed on the skillet. spread it out in a gentle manner. For approximately three to four minutes on each side, 

Step 6

heat food till bubbles form and pop. Fry the opposite side till golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter. Have butter and syrup with your dinner!
