The BEST Sticky Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Recipe

If you want an easy dinner the whole family loves, try this Sticky Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken!  

Ingredient

– 8 pieces of chicken 1 whole chicken cut up or piece – 1 tablespoon light brown sugar packed – 1 teaspoon smoked paprika – 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt – 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder – 1/2 teaspoon onion powder – 1/2 teaspoon black pepper – 1-2 cups bbq sauce

Introduction 

Spray cooking spray on the slow cooker. Put the chicken pieces in the slow cooker. Add the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and brown sugar to a small bowl.

Mix the goods together. Add the spices to the chicken and mix them together by tossing them.

The chicken will cook for 4-6 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high after the lid is put on top of the slow cooker. When the chicken hits 165°F on the inside, it's done.

I like to cook the chicken a little longer and then pull it out when it's around 180°F because I think it's more tender that way. Turn on the grill to high. Put foil around the edges of a sheet tray.

Put the chicken pieces on the paper so that they don't touch. Cover the chicken in the barbecue sauce and brush it all over. Keep an eye on it because this will only take a few minutes.

Caramelise and bubble. Turn pieces and recoat with BBQ sauce. Broil again. Repeat until chicken is sticky and caramelised. How saucy you like your chicken determines sauce amounts. Remove heat and serve.
