Torrey Craig is working hard to return to Chicago's lineup and help the undermanned Bulls

Forward Torrey Craig of the Chicago Bulls might get rubbed behind in the next few games. The Bulls have been hurt a lot lately, with key players like Zach LaVine and Patrick Williams already out for the rest of the season with foot problems.

This is good news for the team.Craig hasn't played since the All-Star break because he hurt his knee while working out.

While he's been out, the Bulls have used a lot of young players who haven't shown much promise, like Onuralp Bitim, Dalen Terry, and Julian Phillips.

Some good games have been had by all three, but Craig adds experience and a rough style of play that the Bulls really need.

Head coach Billy Donovan says that Craig has been doing more on the court and that he might come back during the team's current road trip."I'm not sure about this road trip, but it's possible."

A lot will depend on how he keeps improving, but I think the doctors are pretty positive about where he is right now, so he's definitely getting closer and closer to playing.

There is no certainty regarding the date that Craig will return to the lineup; however, it is obvious that the veteran striker will be limited in the number of minutes he plays whenever he does return.

Craig was sidelined for more than six weeks due to plantar fasciitis, but he was able to participate in six games before he suffered a knee injury.

Soon, the Bulls will play two games in a row against the Utah Jazz and the Golden State Warriors. To end their road trip, they will play the Los Angeles Clippers.
