Valentine Rice Krispie Treats Easiest Recipe Ever

A classic recipe transformed into a colorful and festive holiday snack, these Valentine Rice Krispie Treats are sure to please.  


– 6 cups Rice Krispie – 6 Tablespoons butter – 6 cups 13.5 ounces mini marshmallow – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Topping: – 1 ¼ cup white chocolate chips – 1 cup pink candy melt – ½ cup dark chocolate chips – 1 teaspoon coconut oil optional – Pink or red food coloring – Sprinkles for garnish – Candy stick or wooden skewers/dowels if desired


Large saucepan butter melting. After melting, add marshmallows and stir until smooth. Mix in the vanilla until mixed, then remove from heat.  

Step 1

Stir the Rice Krispies into the marshmallow mixture until they are covered. Apply parchment paper to a 9x13-inch baking pan and add rice krispie mixture.  

Step 2

Spread evenly with a spatula or hands to 1-inch thickness. Grease heart cookie cutters with non-stick cooking spray and cut the first round of hearts on a baking sheet.  

Step 3

Reshape the pieces into another 1-inch-thick square or rectangle and repeat until all the hearts are cut. Stick the sticks into the hearts' bottoms and harden for 20 minutes. 

Step 4

Fill a small heat-safe bowl with white chocolate, another with dark chocolate, and another with candy melts. If used, add 1 teaspoon coconut oil to white and dark chocolate.  

Step 5

One bowl at a time, microwave for 20 seconds and stir until melted. Dip each heart's side or top in melted chocolate. Spread chocolate over the top with a spoon.  

Step 6

A ziptop bag can be used as a piping bag to embellish by cutting a small hole in the corner and creating fine lines. 

Step 7

Put hearts on parchment paper and sprinkle immediately. Let hearts set completely before serving.
