Delicious Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball Recipe

Bacon lovers' favourite appetiser is this bacon ranch cheese ball! Serve this simple cheese ball with your favourite crackers for a quick snack.


For the cheese ball: – 16 ounces cream cheese softened – 8 ounces freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese – ½ cup finely sliced green onion – ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon – 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce – 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix OR 2 tablespoons homemade ranch seasoning mix 1 ounce For the topping: – 2 tablespoons cooked and crumbled bacon – 2 tablespoons finely sliced green onion – ½ cup finely chopped pecan

Step 1

While the cream cheese is soft, use an electric mixer to beat it in a large bowl until it is smooth and creamy. 

Step 2

Put in the rest of the cheese ball's ingredients. Mix everything together by beating it. 

Step 3

Lay out a big piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Put the mix in the middle of the plastic wrap. 

Step 4

Cover the cheese with the plastic wrap by pulling up the sides. Roll the cheese into a ball. Put in the fridge for at least three hours.

Step 5

Put the topping items in a shallow bowl before you serve. Spread the nuts, bacon, and green onions out on a work surface. 

Step 6

Carefully roll the cheese ball in them to cover it.  Put crackers on the side.
