Delicious Rum Sour Recipe

Our Rum Sour Recipe takes minutes with simple ingredients. This famous cocktail is sweet and tart and must-make.  


– 2 ounces dark rum – 1 large pasteurized egg white – 3/4 ounce lemon juice fresh squeezed – 3/4 ounce simple syrup – Dried lemon wheels garnish, optional – Luxardo maraschino cherries garnish, optional


The following components should be mixed together in a cocktail shaker: dark rum, egg white that has been pasteurized, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup.  

Step 1

Combine all of these components in a single mixture. After you have finished placing the top on the cocktail shaker, give the mixture a vigorous shake for thirty seconds until it becomes foamy.

This should be done until the liquid reaches the desired consistency. Keep doing this until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. In order to accomplish this,

it is strongly suggested that the dry shake method be performed. To move on to the next step, which is to wet shake, you will first need to add a handful of ice cubes to the shaker,

and then you will need to replace the lid of the shaker once more. This will allow you to advance to the next stage. At this point,

we have reached the next stage. After vigorously shaking it for a full minute each time, repeat the process, and then shake it once more after each repetition. 

Step 6

The cocktail should be strained through a strainer before being poured into a glass that has been allowed to cool down.

This will also garnish the drink. The liquid is then topped with dried lemon wheels and cherries. This concludes the process.
