Easiest Marinated Cold Green Bean Salad Recipe with Tomatoes

This tangy homemade salad dressing-marinated Cold Green Bean Salad is perfect for potlucks. This side salad is delicious with cherry tomatoes and parmesan before serving!  

Ingredient

– 2 pounds trimmed fresh green bean – 1/3 cup olive oil – 5 tablespoons red wine vinegar – 4 cloves garlic minced – 1 tablespoon dijon mustard – 3 teaspoons kosher salt – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – 1 small red onion thinly sliced – 1 pint cherry tomatoes cut in half – 1/4 cup 

Introduction 

Green beans should be placed in a large stock pot, and then the pot should be set aside. The water level should be two inches above the green beans, 

Step 1

and the beans should be submerged in the water. Once the large pot of water and beans that has been placed on the stove and heated over high heat has reached a boil,

the beans and water should be able to be consumed. The water should be allowed to simmer for five minutes after reaching a boil,

after which the heat should be reduced to a medium setting. In order to achieve the desired result, the green beans should be crisp and tender. Proceed to set it aside after straining it. 

Step 4

Gather the olive oil, vinegar, garlic, dijon mustard, salt, and pepper into a large bowl and mix them together. All of these components should be mixed together using a whisk until they are completely incorporated. 

Step 5

Toss the green beans and onion to coat them once they have reached the desired temperature. 

Step 6

Make sure to cover it with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator while it is still cold. This will allow it to chill for at least four hours. 

Step 7

After adding tomatoes and cheese, toss. Transfer them to a serving bowl and bring them to the table immediately.
