Easiest Perfect Homemade French Fries Easiest Recipe Ever

Make your favorite restaurant fries at home! These are so simple to make with 2 ingredients that you won't look back.  

Ingredient

– 4 russet potatoes peeled or scrubbed clean – peanut oil for frying recommended but use the oil you prefer to fry – Season Salt – Kosher Salt

Introduction 

A deep fryer, Dutch oven, or large pot with three inches of oil should be heated to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sticks of potatoes measuring approximately half an inch in length. 

Step 1

Wait until you are ready to fry the fries by placing them in a large bowl filled with cold water. 

Step 2

Take the fries out of the water in batches and use a clean dish towel to remove any excess moisture that may have accumulated on them. 

Step 3

Put them into the hot oil with extreme caution, and then cook them for ten to twelve minutes. They should be stirred on multiple occasions in the oil. At this point,

the fries should not have a great deal of color as they are currently. Fry the food in batches, as this is required. 

Step 5

When you have finished shaking off any excess oil, place the fries on a wire rack that is placed on top of a large baking sheet to catch any drips that may occur. 

Step 6

Set the temperature to 375°F. Again, carefully return fries to the fryer in batches. Cook for two to three minutes for a golden brown and crispy exterior. 

Step 7

Shake off any excess oil and return them to the wire rack. Shortly after cooking, add season salt and kosher salt to taste.
