INGREDIENTS
– 6 ounces (170g) bittersweet chocolate, roughly chopped– 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter– 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar– 2 large egg– 1/4 cup (59ml) red wine– 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour– 1/2 teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare an 8-inch square baking pan. Place the butter and chocolate in a bowl that can be heated in the microwave.
Step 2
In 30-second increments, microwave at half-power until butter and chocolate melt when mixed. Stir smooth. Let cool slightly.
Step 3
Sugar and eggs should be properly mixed in a big bowl. Mix together the cooled chocolate and wine. Mix in flour and salt until mixed.
Step 4
Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake 35–40 minutes until a pick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Cut into bars after 10 minutes of cooling in the pan.
