Eggless Chickpea Cookies (Besan Nankhatai) Recipe

– 1/2 cup ghee – 1/2 cup sugar – 1 cup chickpea flour gram flour/besan – 1/2 tsp cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp salt – 1 tsp baking powder

Warm the oven up to 180 C or 350 F. Put sugar and butter in a large bowl.

Mix with a whisk until smooth and light. Salt and baking powder should be added.

It will look crumbly after you add the chickpea flour and mix it well.

Make dough balls with your hands and put them on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.

Bake the cookies for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they turn a light golden brown colour.

Let it cool on a wire rack, then put it in a container that won't let air in.
