Fudgy Peanut Butter Cup Brownies Recipe

Combining chocolate and peanut butter is dessert nirvana. Rich cocoa, velvety peanut butter, and indulgent fudge make these Fudgy Peanut Butter Cup Brownies heavenly. 

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter – 2 cups granulated sugar – 4 large egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 cup all-purpose flour – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon baking powder – 1 cup creamy peanut butter – 1 cup semisweet chocolate chip – 1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped (plus extra for topping, if desired)

Step 1

Preheat and Prepare:- Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and reserve a 9x13-inch baking pan.

Step 2

Butter melts:- Heat butter in 30-second increments in a microwave-safe bowl until melted. Let it cool slightly.

Step 3

Mix Wet Ingredients:- Mix melted butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Beat each egg carefully after adding it. Mix in vanilla extract.

Step 4

Include Dry Ingredients:- Sift cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder into wet mixture. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently until incorporated. Do not overmix.

Step 5

Add Peanut Butter:- Soften peanut butter in the microwave for 30 seconds. Swirl softened peanut butter into brownie batter to marble it.

Step 6

Fold in Peanut Butter Cups and Chocolate Chips:- Stir semisweet chocolate chips and chopped peanut butter cups into the batter until evenly distributed.

Step 7

Bake:- Fill the baking pan with batter and distribute evenly. Extra chopped peanut butter cups can be sprinkled on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.

Step 8

Cool and Serve:- Slice the brownies into squares after they've cooled fully on a wire rack. Serve and enjoy the peanut buttery, fudgy bliss!
