My Favourite Cauliflower Steak Recipe

I recently started eating cauliflower steaks, but this recipe is great!  My school lunches and excessive mush may have made me loathe cauliflower! Plus years as a vegetarian when plant-based was mushy cauliflower cheese!

My Favourite Cauliflower Steak Recipe

– 1 head Raw Cauliflower – 1 tspn Ground Cumin – 1 tspn Smoked Paprika – 2 tbsp Pine Nut – 1 handful Fresh Parsley , Flat Leaf – 1 handful Fresh mint leaves, finely chopped, stalks removed – 1 tbsp Capers, finely chopped – 1 tbsp Olive Oil, Extra virgn – 1/4 tspn Sea salt – 1/4 tspn Black pepper, Freshly ground

Heat the oven at 220C. Remove cauliflower's outer leaves.

Cut the cauliflower head and stem into 1-inch-thick cross sections. If any florets fall apart, just hold them together.  

Step 2

Place cut cauliflower steaks on a prepared baking sheet. Season with salt, pepper, olive oil, and spices. 

Step 3

Rub the spices into the cauliflower, flip, and repeat. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove the herbs' leaves, cut them, and mix with capers.  

Step 4

Carefully turn the cauli steak over after 15 minutes of toasting and goldening. Bake another 10 minutes.  

Step 5

For the last 5 minutes, add mint, parsley, capers, and pine nuts. Bake for 5 minutes, checking for burns.
