Copycat Chili's Cajun spaghetti Recipe - Imagine a mound of spaghetti with colourful veggies and tender, spicy chicken. Even better than the restaurant!  

Ingredient

– 1 pound penne pasta or bow tie – 4 boneless skinless chicken breast – 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 3 tablespoons unsalted butter – 1 small yellow onion diced – 3 cloves garlic minced – 1 cup heavy cream – 1 teaspoon lemon zest – ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1/2 teaspoon black pepper – 3 Roma tomatoes diced for garnish – 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves chopped for garnish – 1 tablespoon green onions chopped for garnish – Shredded parmesan for garnish

Introduction 

Follow the steps on the box to cook the pasta. Remove the water and set it aside. Use a paper towel to dry the chicken breasts.  

Step 1

Put some Cajun spice on it and rub it all over. In a big skillet or cast-iron pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. After you add the chicken,

cook for 5 to 6 minutes, then flip it over and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes, or until the internal temperature hits 165°F. Put the chicken on a plate and cover it with foil to keep it warm. 

Step 3

In the same pan or pot, melt the butter. Put in the chopped onion and cook for three to four minutes. Add the chopped garlic and cook for one to two minutes,

until the garlic smells good. Lightly beat in the shaved Parmesan, heavy cream, and lemon zest. Make sure to whisk the sauce for two minutes, or until it gets thicker.  

Step 5

Add pepper and salt. Add more if you think it needs it. Put the chicken and savoury pasta on a plate or bowl to serve.  

Step 6

Cover it with the sauce and top it with chopped tomatoes, parsley, green onions, and shredded Parmesan. Enjoy right away.
