Spinach Puffs Recipe with Puff Pastry and Cheese

Who wants to make something cheesy, savoury, and delicious? I'm so pleased to share my favourite recipe—Cheesy Spinach Puffs—with you today!  

Ingredient

– 8 ounces cream cheese – 5 ounce fresh spinach freshly chopped – 8 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – 2 large eggs divided use – 2 tablespoons scallions finely chopped, divided use – 1 teaspoon water – 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed – 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese finely shredded

Introduction 

Warm the oven up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cover a small muffin pan with cooking spray. Put the cream cheese in a small bowl and microwave it for 10 to 15 seconds, or until it starts to get a little soft.  

Step 1

Put the cream cheese and spinach in a big bowl and mix them together. Then add the garlic powder, salt, pepper, mozzarella cheese, one egg, and one tablespoon of chopped onions. 

Step 2

In a small bowl, beat the other egg with 1 teaspoon of water. Set the bowl away. Place the dough out flat on a surface that has been lightly greased.  

Step 3

Cut the pastry into 12 small pieces by making three cuts along the length and four cuts across the width. Put one piece of dough into each muffin tin hole and press it down a little.  

Step 4

Place the square's corners on the edge of the tin. Put one tablespoon of the spinach mixture into each piece of pastry. I like to use a small cookie scoop for this! Then,

pinch the corners of the dough over the top of each other. Spread the egg wash over the tops of the spinach bites, then sprinkle the rest of the onions and parmesan cheese on top.  

Step 6

Set the pies in the oven and bake them for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the tops are brown.  

Step 7

Once the spinach bites are done baking, use a knife to loosen the edge of the muffin tin before taking them out. Enjoy while still warm!
