These cinnamon tortilla chips are buttery, crunchy, and sweet with lots of cinnamon sugar. They go great with ice cream, any sweet dip, or summertime fruit salsa.
INGREDIENTS
– 5 8-inch taco-size flour tortilla– ¼ cup granulated sugar– Heaping ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon– 4 tablespoons butter melted
Step 1
Cut each tortilla into 8 triangles that are all the same size. You can use a big knife or a pizza cutter for this.
Step 2
If you need to, separate the pieces and put them in a big bowl. The sugar and cinnamon should be mixed together.
Step 3
Pour the melted butter over the tortilla pieces in the bowl and mix them around to cover them. Add as much of the cinnamon-sugar mix as you want and toss to spread it out evenly.
Step 4
For three minutes, heat up an air fryer to 350°F. After the air fryer is hot, add the tortilla pieces. If your air fryer is small, you may need to do this in batches.
Step 5
The chips should be air-fried at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes, turning them over every few minutes, until they are golden brown.
Step 6
Put the chips on a baking sheet to cool down. As chips cool, they'll get crisp. If you are working with a group, keep air-frying the chips until they are all done. Mix in some fruit sauce or ice cream and serve.
