Doritos cuts ties with Samantha Hudson, a trans Spanish influencer, after disturbing posts surface:-Doritos has cut links with trans Spanish singer and influencer Samantha Hudson, 24, after disturbing social media posts came back to light earlier this week.

In her tweets from 2015, Hudson, who is now known as X, expressed her desire to engage in “deprived things” with a “12-year-old girl,” as reported by Rolling Stone. However, users on X are still uploading photographs of her comments online, despite the fact that the original posts that Hudson wrote have been removed.

The majority of the people who brought Hudson’s ideas to light on social media did so by writing comments under her fifty-second branded video for her Doritos Spain campaign titled “Crunch Talks.” Initially, she posted it on Instagram; however, it swiftly migrated to other websites, along with some of her prior posts.

PepsiCo, the corporation that owns Doritos, stated in an interview with USA TODAY that it terminated its advertisement with Hudson after discovering more about her previous posts on social media.

“Recently, Doritos Spain made a content series with a local influencer named Samantha Hudson.” The fact that Samantha had erased her tweets from around 2015 was not brought to our attention until after the campaign had already begun. Because of the statements, we severed our relationship with them and took a break from all activity linked to the campaign. We strongly reject any and all forms of violence or misogyny, regardless of the nature of the behaviour.

Hudson apologized in a now-deleted X post

A post that Hudson made on X, which has since been deleted, contained an apology for her comments, in which she stated that her words were “absolutely out of place, disgusting, and offensive.” In the following sentence, she describes how she has been receiving “a multitude of violent messages, threats, and very serious accusations for the past four days.”

The statements that Hudson made were made while she was a minor and during a period of time when the “general tone of social networks was to make the most brutal and exorbitant black humour that you could” in order to bring attention to oneself. Hudson also noted that she made these comments.

“I don’t think like that, and I didn’t think like that then,” she was quoted as saying in her apologies.

In the final part of her apology, Hudson refuted a “manipulated post” from 2014 that had accused her of being a paedophile. In addition to this, she criticised several other users of social media for using transphobic rhetoric in order to criticise her gender identification and physical appearance.
