In relation to the event, that man—whom authorities claim to be her boyfriend—has been taken into custody.

Just before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, cops responded to a 911 call involving a report of a woman on the tracks at the Fulton Street station in Manhattan, according to a spokeswoman of the New York Police Department who spoke with USA TODAY.
The spokesman added that a woman who was 29 years old was injured by a train traveling southbound on the No. 3 line and that she was discovered conscious by the police officers who arrived.
According to the police, the woman was transported to a hospital by the paramedics who responded to the scene, where she was found to be in stable condition.

Pushed onto the tracks
According to the findings of further inquiry, the woman was pushed onto the tracks by a male who was 35 years old. This occurred after the two were involved in what the police referred to as a domestic quarrel.
It was confirmed by the authorities that the man who pushed the woman over the tracks is her boyfriend. The authorities also stated that the woman lost both of her feet as a result of being hit by the train.
According to a representative for the police department, Christian Valdez, who is from Brooklyn, was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder as well as criminal assault in connection with the attack.
According to the records of the New York Department of Corrections, it was not immediately known whether Valdez had gained access to legal representation, and he remained incarcerated without bond on Monday.
Additionally, according to the records, he is being charged with a parole breach in conjunction with the new charge.
After being convicted of assault, burglary, harassment, and acting in a manner that was harmful to a kid, Valdez was released on parole from the Sing Sing Correctional Facility in 2023, according to documents from the state prison system.
It was claimed by the New York Times that the accusations were brought about as a result of Valdez entering into an apartment in the Bronx and “slashing a 37-year-old woman and her 3-year-old daughter.”
On Monday, the police stated that the investigation into the subway case was still ongoing.
