And after the game, despite his individual performance, Nurkić expressed his dissatisfaction with the refereeing and questioned how he didn’t get to throw line even once despite his dominance under the rim. However, he did get to throw line.

- When Nurkić was asked by reporters about the 118–110 loss, he expressed his disappointment, saying, “It’s kind of really messed up when you have 13 offensive rebounds and 16 shots but then zero free throws.”

- As the game came to a close, Nurkić finished with a total of 14 points, having made seven of his sixteen tries at shooting, in addition to his 31 boards and four assists, all while playing for a total of 32 minutes.
